our's is finally over...it's more like september outside, but I love this golden light (OK, now it's raining)...I'm more of a spring or autumn-person than summer...

but I've read in Japan it's still really hot and humid, over 130 people already died (I guess almost all were elderly...) and the guys starting their tour in a few days...it will be intense...hopefully Oh-chan's healthy again -.-

*back to work*

Euh. Sounds like a LOT of work, typing like you do. I hope you can maybe listen to some soft music to keep your motivation up! :D

... Obasan, you say? Pffft. *pokes* What are you talking about. ;)

Yes. Canada. Québec, the French province, is really only French. Some English speakers in Montréal, but that is the exception. No, really, kids don't grow up hearing both languages, We aren't exposed to English unless we take the necessary steps to be, and to learn. :)

Have a good commute home! Otukaresama deshita!

And now, for me, time for Lunch! :D

(Oh! Yes. Translating from English to French.) *waves*

Sokka... ^^ I guess I didn't think things through. ;)

Yes, indeed, still at work. It is exceedingly quiet, so I decided to listen to some soft music with one earphone used. Otherwise, I would just fall asleep.

I finished QCing the translation of ep.06 of My Girl, and am now halfway into QCing ep.08. Still 2.5 more hours at work, so I hope to have the time to QC ep.10, (QC= quality check), and to then start the translation of episode 09. I somehow skipped ep.09, to be done with ep.10, which is seriously painful to me.

If I am lucky, I will have time to start the translation of Kobe on Thursday, and to follow it through to Friday. I wonder how much of it I can get done at work over two quiet days. :D

Wow... I just keep rambling, don't I? Please excuse me. I really get carried away when it comes to planification.

Office clerk. An agency found me 1-2 week contracts for the summer, during which my job is substituting receptionists that go on vacation.

In most places visited, Livejournal is offlimits, but it isn't here. <3

I do enjoy translating all day and getting paid while doing it. It's a most enjoyable summer job. ;D

Oh, I'm jealous...O^O sounds nice
working my but of in a coffee shop full of annoying tourist...not getting paid well enough for the amount of annoyance, but I'll do it the whole year (since 4 years...), so I'm kinda used to it now ^o^
searching for a better one...

Waiters and people in the food business, I admire loads. I don't think I would be strong enough to work in the same environment, to deal with the stress. 4 years is quite a bit of time!

I do hope you find a receptionist position someplace. It is a part-time job I enjoy enough to have done it for 3 years now.

I don't know if it works very differently in Germany, but real estate agencies is where I work during the schoolyear, and it is a fine workplace, I would say. :)

Wishing you the best,
E. ;)
