reading Mark D. West's Secrets, Sex and Spectacle: The Rules of Scandal in Japan and the United States. Chicago: Univ. of Chicago Press, 2006.

damn interesting! and high-profile! (the nickname "Beat" Takeshi became a completely new meaning and I
really wonder how this is NOT connected to mob-ties - just saying...)

although I am slow since I'm not used to such an amount of law-related vocabulary, but I manage even without a dictionary (thanks to reading on japansubculture.com) and that makes me weirdly proud

I am now intersted in those:

Isn't it an interesting book?! The book on love is also quite good. I think you will enjoy "lalapipo" too.

One I am reading now is about grammar. Very funny look at English grammar by Ben Yagoda called: If you catch an adjective, kill it. LOL!

one of the main rules in my essay writing course, made up by propably the most famous style-writer William Strunk (Elements of Style): Kill your Adjectives! XD

I got it in my local state-library
the author is one of the most famous professors for Japanese law - so it should be avaiable without problems ^_^
