Yesterday the friend who overcame his shame as a straight, proud, full-grown Japanese man and bought AraFes for me in a store Tokyo came back - I got my DVD! finally!
I feel like it's already too old news to talk about it
I didn't stop in between, I didn't take any screenies during this first watch - I just enjoyed. And I enjoyed it so much, I could cry~ ahh, it may sound pathetic but I am really moved
The stage, the teamwork, the setting, the songs, the singing and dancing - but especially the laughing - seeing them laugh in between, joking and giggling
I was waiting for an orchestra version of Truth since I heard it for the first time~ and it was incredible and beautiful as I imagined it. Ohno did a great job altering the original choreo and fitting it int the new arrangement (although the costume was more swan king than demon king...)
all this drama on stage!
and Tokei jikake no Umbrella - the choreo. At first I thought there are too many different patterns put together, but after a while, I understood, Ohno was using the bolero or rather tango-like patterns of the music and combined it with strong movements in which one could strongly sense Ohnos admiration for Michael Jackson (since I watched This is It I understand J and Ohno's way of moving, dancing and creating stages so much better!) - the choreo had Lock Dance elements, but was significant different from the usual "idol dance"
and during Ohno's Rain, the boys dance in the VTR as HUGE backdancers and they were damn good! and Ohno ♥ if he's putting in everything he's incredible
and Shake it was blowing my mind, I didn't know if I'm arroused or amused or both and laughing and kyaaa-ing and awe-ing were all over the place
oh and so much more! backdancers ♥
and Aiba with his two solos (although he looked tired and was a less jumpy but still smiled so dazzling BRIGHT)
and now I understand what
ginger001 meant when she said J and Sho were the stagemasters - together
it became pretty clear during the DJ-set when Sho-chan came out and started to rap and into La Tormenta
and god I am so happy
and I am so happy I found them to make me happy and as a wonderful friend of mine (no Arashi-fan) once really wise stated: It is a hard but admirable work to make people happy ♥
deep deep affection for those five who are always able to make me smile again and who enabled me to meet such wonderful friends from all over the world ♥
and all this made me re-watch Saigo no Yakusoku today - which made me almost cry and reminded me, those five tgether are something wonderful
looking really good, acting really good & being wonderful humans (including all their fails and antics which could not hurt the shiny front at all)
[and all the thoughts more on the worrywart side I will keep in mind until tomorrow and come back]
