Ikuta Toma - Woman and Hitler (?)
Oct. 5th, 2010 09:53 amon arama I found this:
community.livejournal.com/aramatheydidnt/1294420.html
Ikuta Toma in two Mishima stage-plays, at the same time (and if I understand this right, at the same time means at the same time, same stage, same everything....did I misunderstand?) - playing a woman (in "Madame de Sade") and young Hitler (in "My friend Hitler") - I've seen both plays, at least parts of it...Oh, I really don't know how to cope with that
I'm excited...I mean, it's Mishima! I attended a conference about him and his literature and influence back in may...he's like strange but fascinating, a disturbing personality which wrote disturbing but fascinating plays and novels...I hope this experiment won't fail, it's really hard to predict...O_o
but now I'm think I should go to Japan in March instead of April...to see this...will I go to Japan?? hm, hope so...whatever
edit: Japan_now also reported, even more detailed:
community.livejournal.com/japan_now/1079859.html#cutid1
and, what I forgot to mention: the almighty Ninagawa Yukio is to direct this...maybe it really will be a good one??!! °_° O_O
