long title ^.^
OK
first:
"Kinkakuji" (The temple of the golden pavilion" will be made into a stage play, for the first time, with Morita Go (V6) as the main-figure Mizoguchi
I wonder how that one will work out?! It's a hard to adapt piece, quite closed, so much thoughts and inner-monologue, even stream of conciousness sometimes
I've read this over the last two month (I have an english version, so it took me quite a long time and it is a book you can't read to fast, it makes you reflective)...I really like the works Mishima Yukio (author), they are all slightly disturbing. Kinkakuji is definitely one of the best books I've ever read! I have to re-read it
I think I will write about it and my experiences with it in the future...
Feel encouraged to read it!! and if you already have, I will be delighted to share our thoughts about it (I've went to a Mishima-conference held in spring here in Berlin, it was great and I learned so much about him, his work, japanese literature and it's influences and influence as well!)
second:
even more excited!!
Oguri Shun will play Alex in HoriPros Clockwork Orange stage-production (first japanese adaptation on stage!) and maybe he will be involved in the production itself too...
Clockwork Orange is a terrific piece of art!
Oguri-san was really great in Crows Zero but even more in his Caligula performance (it was the reason for me to be his fan, there be some videos around the net!)
I think he could really pull it of. He's a great performer and when he's given the chance with an almost frightening stage profile...
