long time to see & here I am with a request ^_^

I am a geeky language nerd & German as a Foreign language teacher

I am fascinated with the fascination my students have for the German expression "Genau!" - which means "Yes!" or "Exactly!"

I would love to make a list with possible translations or rather equivalents of this expression from as many languages as possible - even dialects are welcome!

if you would like to add to my list please answer here - including the country

Not sure if it's what you're looking for but depending on the context, there's "そう!/正にそう!" (sou! / masa ni sou!) in Japanese, "ya! / betul!" in Malay, "对!/是的” (dui! / shi de) in Mandarin Chinese (simplified).

They're all variations of "yes" or "exactly" or "correct" and is the kind of affirmative response you'd use them to something like "is this what you're looking for?"/ "Did I get that right?"

And I guess "hell yeah!" in English XD
